Fall is one of my favorite seasons and it’s approaching. Love the weather, the colors, the house smelling like thanksgiving and everything that is made with pumpkin, cinnamon and apples. Also it’s a great season to spend time with the family outside, before it gets too cold. One of the activities that all of my family enjoys, is apple and pumpkin picking. And I wanted to share a list (and some pics!) of my favorite farms here in New Jersey.

Ochs Orchard is a beautiful farm located in Warwick , NY. Known for their delicious apple cider donuts. At Ochs Orchard you can pick your own apples, pears, pumpkin and berries.

Demarest farms The first farm that I ever visited when I came to this country. It’s a great place that your kids and surely the whole family will enjoy. We love the hayride. During the summer you can pick peaches and during fall their delicious apples and pumpkins. The apple pie is great. Demarest farm is located in Hillsdale, NJ

Alstede Farms a huge farm with activities for the whole family, hayride, bouncy castle, petting zoo and of course… fruits and vegetables for you to pick. Check their calendar for activities this month. Alstede farm is located in the beautiful town of Chester, NJ

Sunhigh Orchard is located in Randolph, NJ. We went there last year at the end of the season and they had plenty apples for us to pick. Is a small farm compare to others that I have visited, but it has many activities for you and your family to enjoy. Go there early as parking can get a little bit crazy.
