I’ve been wanting to make my own coleslaw. Everybody makes it different, some people use milk others use sour cream, some people like it really sweet or maybe tangy and spicy…I didn’t know what to do!! So…I decided to make my own version and….I loved it!
Here is my recipe….
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of shredded cabbage
- 1 large carrot, finely shredded
- 1 celery stalk, finely shopped
- 1/4 cup of sour cream
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of sugar, or to taste
- salt and pepper to taste.
Directions: Combined the shredded cabbage, carrots and celery in a large bowl. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, vinegar, and add to the shredded cabbage mixture. Mix well, add salt and pepper and taste for seasoning.
