We had the pleasure interviewing Mrs. Vazquez, and she was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She is a proud of her heritage and calls herself Hija de la Isla Del Encanto! She is the wife to NB Arts Academy, Musical Director Raymond Vazquez and Mami, to 2 amazing teenage daughters Melody and Joyce. What Mari enjoys the most in her career is being able help our community through the Music & Arts Academy Education. She stated that the Academy offers quality music & dance  instructions at an affordable price and she sees the successful impact it is doing on her students. The mission of the program is to equip our children regardless of race or financial status with a excellent musical foundation. Seeing children that are as young as 4 years old being able to read Music brings her great joy! She balances a Full-time career at one of NJ’s top Universities and during the evening she juggles being a Mom and running a Music & Art Academy of 120 students. If you thought that was it …guess again. She is also taking up some Theology courses. When I asked Mrs. Vazquez how does she do it all? She stated that organization is key. She stated that her family pulls together to get the chores done in the house which is a great help. She doesn’t tackle everything all at once, which allows her to manage everything on daily basis. Mrs. Vazquez shared that aside from having such a busy agenda, she makes time for her family by setting scheduled dates to spend quality time with her husband and each of her girls. She stated that it doesn’t have to be an expensive date to show your loved one that you care about them it can be a movie night at home and letting them pick the movie (Even if you saw it 10 times).

Tuvimos el placer de entrevistar a la señora Vázquez, y ella nació y se crio en Puerto Rico. Ella está orgullosa de su herencia y dice ser “Hija de la Isla Del Encanto” Ella esta casada con el Director Musical de Academia de Artes Nuevos Comienzos, Raymond Vázquez y es madre de 2 adolescentes hermosas,  Melodía y Joyce.  Mari disfruta al máximo su carrera y poder ayudar a la comunidad atreves de la música y la educación en bellas artes. Ella nos dijo que la Academia ofrece instrucciones de música y danza de calidad a un precio asequible y ve el impacto exitoso que está haciendo en sus estudiantes. La misión del programa es dotar a nuestros hijos, sin importar raza o condición económica, con una excelente base musical. Viendo a los niños que son tan jóvenes, como de  4 años, capaces de leer que música trae una su gran alegría para ella. Ella balancea una carrera a tiempo completa en uno de las universidades de Nueva Jersey y durante la noche ella hace malabares como  madre y ejecutiva de la  Academia de 120 estudiantes. Si pensabas que era todo ella también está tomando algunos cursos de teología.

Cuando pregunté a Mrs. Vázquez ¿cómo hace todo esto? Afirmó que la organización es clave. Dijo que su familia es de gran ayuda con los quehaceres. Ella no aborda todo a la vez, que permite gestionar todo diariamente aliviando el trabajo. La Sra. Vázquez compartido que aparte de tener una agenda tan ocupada, ella hace tiempo para su familia estableciendo fechas programadas para pasar tiempo de calidad con su esposo y cada una de sus hijas. Afirmó que no tiene que ser una actividad cara para demostrar su amor y que te preocupas por ellos. Puede ser una noche de cine en casa y dejarlos que elijan la película (incluso si lo has visto 10 veces).
